It is hard to believe that this is the last forecast I will send for 2025. We have had a great first half of the school year, and I am so incredibly excited to see what 2026 has in store for your students and North Middle School. For this week's forecast, follow this link: https://bit.ly/48E7DWA.
Thank you for entrusting your student to me and my staff. It is among my greatest honor to lead the work here at NMS and to watch your students grow each and every day!
Happy Holidays!

NMS Families,
Welcome back! I hope everyone had an amazing and restful break. We are now in the countdown to Winter Break as it is only three short weeks away! Please remind your students the importance of being here, being active in their learning, and being responsible during the day! Here is the link for this week's activities: https://bit.ly/48rIT2i. Please be sure to read the side bar notes as it gives a little heads up about NTI work plans coming soon as we move in to the colder months!

ATTENTION PARENTS, STAFF AND COMMUNITY!!!
HCS needs your help! This week is Safe Schools Week across Kentucky! Our friends at the Kentucky Center for School Safety are asking students, parents, staff and community members to pledge to keep our students safe.
HCS is currently ranked 6th in the state in the number of pledges received! You can help us move up the list and win the challenge!!!
Please click this link to take an approximately 20-second pledge to keep our students safe while at school: https://kycss.org/safe-schools-week/safety-week-pledge/

We encourage our students to attend school every day, but especially on Tuesday, September 9, 2025! Bragging rights are on the line in our district-wide competition!!! Great attendance that day helps HCS as we compete with other districts in Kentucky.

Free lunches are provided through a program called the Community Elgibility Provision (CEP). The continuation of CEP is dependendent on the number of school meals served. We encourage all students to participate in school lunch and school breakfast as much as possible!
