NMS NTI 2025-2026
NMS Families,
Superintendent Morgan will share closing and/or NTI information through the District Facebook page, on local news stations, and on the ThrillShare platform to inform families. On traditional snow days, our schools are closed and students will not have any work to complete. NTI days are called because conditions prevent our schools from opening but students have the opportunity to complete school work as if they were in the building. NTI days are considered instructional days and therefore do not have to be made up. The purpose for using NTI is to keep instruction moving forward during extended school closures while allowing districts to end the year in a timely fashion.
In order to access work for the NTI days, you simply navigate to our webpage: https://northmiddle.hardin.kyschools.us/. On this site, you will then find the tab at the top titled “NMS NTI 2025-2026.” Once you visit that link, you will see each grade level’s Google Classroom link. Students can then search for their teachers’ names to find the work they should complete on that specific date. Please remember that while digital assignments can be submitted on the NTI day itself, all work assigned on an NTI day must be completed within 7 calendar days of returning to school. It is recommended that students complete their work on the day if at all possible, but we are mindful of extenuating circumstances. To be clear, your student’s submissions of assignments within those 7 days are what will count your student as present for attendance purposes.
As always, please contact me or the school office at 270-352-3340 if you have any questions, concerns, or needs.
Go Trojans!
